A great space invader

Luxury French cabinet-maker Pinel & Pinel has plugged into the toys-for-big-boys market with this retro arcade game. That said, with its calfskin upholstery, chromium plating, and premium speakers it isn't exactly reminiscent of an arcade gaming experience. It has 60 retro titles (including Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and 1942) and is available in 51 colours.

Muscle power

Ducati's Diavel 2011 motorbike more than lives up to the hype. Aside from tonnes of power and original styling, the Diavel is slathered with the latest in moto-tronics and other conveniences. And it looks mean; in a good way.

Flight of fancy

If you want a jet upgrade then look no further than Bombardier. The plane-maker will launch two variants of the world's most expensive business jet: the Global 7000 and 8000. The aircraft offer a high cruise speed of Mach 0.90 and excellent fuel efficiency and priced around US$65 million. Due to be released in 2016/2017, the 7000 will be able to fly non-stop from Hong Kong to New York and will have the largest cabin in business aviation, while the 8000 will have the longest range.

Light speed

The latest offering from Lamborghini is the Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. The car is lighter, shaving 65kg from the standard Gallardo Spyder by using aluminium panels along with carbon-fibre covers. The aerodynamics have also been improved, helping the Spyder Performante accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
