Maxime Guyon has declared Ambitious Dragon '10 to 20 pounds better' than his current handicap rating after the pair cruised to an emphatic victory in the Hisense Handicap (1,600m). Guyon was relieved to finally notch a result on an afternoon that promised much but delivered little, and was buoyant about Ambitious Dragon's prospects next time he is entered at Sha Tin. 'The horse is much better than his current Class Three rating suggests, and I think he will win in Class Two no problems next time,' Guyon said. 'Ambitious Dragon is 10 to 20 pounds better than his rating suggests and it wouldn't surprise me to see him win in Class One. He will win in Class Two for sure, and, in time, I'm sure he can go onto bigger things.' The bullish assessment came after Ambitious Dragon was well supported to claim his 11/4-length triumph over favourite Saddlers Lodge.
