Policeman hurt in liaison office clash

A 47-year-old woman petitioner was arrested after injuring a police officer in a clash in front of the Beijing liaison office in Western yesterday. Police said she was trying to injure herself with a pair scissors after failing to persuade the liaison office to look into a land dispute she is involved in on the mainland. The officer suffered a cut hand as he tried to subdue her.
