The Lunar New Year is just two weeks away and the shopping malls, which thrive on such festivities, are all about celebration and decorations.
On Monday, Times Square in Causeway Bay and the APM mall in Kwun Tong launched their Lunar New Year campaigns. Times Square booked model-actress Chrissie Chau Sau-na (below), while APM had model Marie Zhuge.
The malls are at least being creative with the themes of their decorations. Chau, in a low-cut tube dress, posed with the God of Fortune under a 10-metre-tall blossoming peach tree. Zhuge, in a body-hugging qipao, kicked open an exhibition of rabbit-themed sculptures.
Zhuge will visit her tycoon boyfriend's family over the holiday, while Chau will be out and about.
'I'm looking forward to going to the New Year flower market,' Chau said. 'I buy a peach tree every year. I hope that can help me attract more friends.'
