Students from the Associate of Arts in Digital Visual Design programme at City University created chairs for 'The Chair Exhibition' to raise funds for Operation Santa Claus. Contributions from visitors amounted to HK$2,156.

The project made me realise the importance of design in contributing to the community.

My team designed and built a chair from recycled material. Our purpose was to raise awareness of the excessive use of packaging in Hong Kong.

We are happy with the chair we made. It was good teamwork.

This year's annual mini bazaar at Diocesan Girls' School, on December 21, featured more than 60 stalls. On sale were more than 40 products designed by students.

Children from the nearby Tack Ching kindergarten were invited to join the fun. They brought joy and laughter to our school.

Special schedule books, called Moments in Time, had a montage of photos on every page to remind students of memorable moments. We raised $5,000 for OSC.
