For just HK$1 million, you can really impress your Valentine's date
There are millions of ways to impress a girl on a Valentine's Day date, and one of them costs a million bucks.
InterContinental Hong Kong has a HK$1 million Valentine's Date at its presidential suite just for a one-night stay.
To justify the price tag, the package includes access to its rooftop terrace, private swimming pool and jacuzzi with a harbour view. As well as the usual butler service, chauffeured limo and personal shopping stylist, there will be 1,000 roses and a boat bearing a banner displaying your declaration of love.
'We've never done anything like this before. The closest thing was a HK$280,000 dinner party during Christmas last year,' said Carole Klein, director of public relations and communications at the hotel. 'It's great timing, coinciding with Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day and Chinese Valentine's Day. There are visitors coming from the mainland as well.'
For what seems like the set of another decadent sequel to the Sex and the City saga, the package would really spoil your special someone.
Just make sure that special someone is not just after your fat wallet.
