Golden Gate Wine have a Napa Valley dinner at Otto e Mezzo in Central, featuring Opus One, Cain Five, Far Niente and Harlan Estate. The dinner on January 27 includes home-made pappardelle with lamb ragout, porcini mushrooms, rosemary and Tajima short ribs and beef tenderloin, paired with Cain Five Spring Mountain 2005, Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville 2007, Harlan Estate 2003, and Opus One 2006. Cinecitta in Wan Chai will serve a special set game menu to a minimum of eight guests, and with five days notice. The seven-course meal has dishes of grilled quail with rosemary essence and soft polenta; caribou risotto with porcini mushrooms; roasted squab galantine with cannellini bean ragout; and slow-roasted deer with savoy cabbage. The Cafe at the Sheraton hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui has Taiwanese night market food on its weekend supper buffet (also served on the eve of public holidays) from 10pm-11.30pm.
