Chocolate sculptures offer a delicious taste of iconic world landmarks

Here's a great way to resist the temptation of delicious chocolates - make them better to look at than to chew on. That worked for singer Ella Koon Yan-na (above), who was special guest at Harbour City's Chocolate World Heritage exhibition opening on Monday.

The chocolate sculptures, made by Italian chocolatier Mirco Della Vecchia, on display at the Tsim Sha Tsui mall are so realistic that you won't want to ruin them by adding a set of bite marks.

The exhibition, running through to February 20, features 13 chocolate miniatures of iconic architectural structures, including Britain's Stonehenge, the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and the Great Wall of China. Rather than yearning to take a bite of the choco-sculptures, however, Koon confessed that she was itching to get away on an overseas trip.

'It's such a pity, I haven't even been to the Great Wall,' Koon said. 'My dream now is to go backpacking, with only my guitar. I was fascinated by the street musicians I saw in Europe. That's why I learned the guitar. It's so cool that you can make money playing music in the street and you are always on the road.'

Until she clears her busy schedule, Koon can perhaps get a taste of the popular tourist attractions she'd like to see from their chocolate lookalikes.
