Judge rules that wall must stay

A partition wall was a common part of a building and could not be demolished, a judge ruled. Deputy Judge Queeny Au Yeung Kwai-yue said in a judgment it did not matter whether it was a weight-bearing wall or not. The decision arose from litigation involving a woman who wanted to demolish a wall between two flats she owned at Shan Tsui Court, Chai Wan.
