Horsing around

Hermes' Rider's Fourre-Tout bag (below; HK$19,500) is casual and practical and big enough to hold all equine essentials. The combination of dark chocolate brown canvas and polished steel clasps adds elegance to an otherwise simple design. Hermes is at Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2575 5424.

Pearls of wisdom

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, pearling company Paspaley has harnessed the simple glamour of the 1930s, for the Marquise range. The South Sea Pearl, blue tanzanite and pave diamond earrings set in platinum come in two versions (right: HK$108,000 and left: HK$67,800), each an elegant reinterpretation of the classic drop earring. Paspaley is in The Galleria, 9 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2525 5959.

The 70s show

With its retro colours and flowing ensembles, Fendi's spring/summer collection is a nod to the bohemian fashion of the 1970s. We like the high-waisted, wide-leg khaki trousers (far right; HK$4,680). For something more feminine, try the floor-length belted dress (right; HK$19,800). Fendi is at The Landmark, Central, tel: 2524 1339.

Love all

American lifestyle brand Cole Haan has teamed up with tennis player Maria Sharapova to launch a line of Valentine's Day-inspired accessories. The Air Jasmine shoe (left; HK$2,400) is a sophisticated choice for the evening and the Jane Street Accordion wallet (above; HK$1,950) would make a great present for the one you love. Cole Haan is at IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7679.
