JUST one month after disappearing from Hong Kong television, BBC World Service Television will be back, if only for limited viewing times, Wharf Cable said yesterday.

It said the BBC had agreed to be a major player in the Wharf International channel to be launched on May 23.

The BBC would be providing four hours of news and current affairs every day at key times - breakfast, lunch time, dinner time and late night.

The two companies had shaken hands on the basic cost structure, although the final sum was dependent on the delivery mechanism that would be used.
