Actress knows her lines, especially when it comes to love
TVB actress and former Miss Chinese International Pageant winner Leanne Li Nga-nam has been making headlines lately because of her relationship with her popular colleague, the goofy comedian Wong Cho-lam. So it was no surprise that she was bombarded with questions on the subject when she appeared at Pacific Place on Monday afternoon.
Unlike most celebrities, however, the 26-year-old Vancouver native was rather straightforward. 'Yes, I went to his house to celebrate the holidays,' she said, adding that her potential parents-in-law liked her.
Dressed in an eye-catching pink Roberto Cavalli dress, the beauty queen was part of the shopping mall's Lunar New Year celebrations.
She kicked off the eye-dotting ceremony and unveiled the fai chun (Chinese festive posters).
Having been off TVB screens since last year's The Mysteries of Love, Li is now preparing for the filming of her next series. Unfortunately, the couple have to work on Valentine's Day, thwarting their original plan to visit Canada so Wong can meet Li's parents.
'Work's more important right now, we're not in a rush,' she said.
