It's a rap as the legendary MC Yan shows off his graffiti skills to give new twist to famous cognac

Hong Kong's rap royalty gathered at the Beijing Club last week for a show celebrating a special edition of Hennessy VSOP cognac.

Local rap group 24 Herbs shared the stage with MC Yan for a raucous performance.

Yan, real name Chan Kwong-yan (pictured, left, with 24 Herbs) also showed off his graffiti skills, giving a live demonstration. The special edition cognac tastes exactly the same - it's the packaging that's different. Yan, in collaboration with Hennessy, gave the bottle a redesign to make it resemble a blue brick wall covered in graffiti.

'Many people think of hip hop as just rap, but hip hop covers a wide range of things, including graffiti,' Yan said.

The special-edition bottles are on sale at selected nightclubs in the city for HK$1,750 per bottle.
