1. Rubber OST - Mr Oizo and Gaspard Auge
This one gives me pins and needles, a convergence of two French electro producers paying tribute to 1960s French cinema soundtracks.
2. Afraid Of The General - DJ Wick-it
This track is from a mash-up album combining tracks by Big Boi from Outkast and The Black Keys. It's a perfect fusion of soul-hop.
3. 2:1 - Elastica
I love the lyrics: Keeping a brave face/ In circumstances is impossible/ Cannot describe/ So many decisions/ It's impossible/ To know which is/ The proper order
4. Who's Afraid Of Detroit - Claude Von Stroke
I never get tired of this 2006 minimal techno track.
5. Kowboyz & Indians - Gonjasufi
Pairing with LA producer Gaslamp Killer, Gonjasufi has created the album A Sufi and a Killer, one of the most fascinating slabs of hallucinogenic head-nodding music to arise from Southern California's post-hip hop vanguard. This track is a standout.
