HK in semis after hammering Singapore

Hong Kong set up a semi-final date against Nepal in the Asian Cricket Council Women's Twenty20 tournament in Kuwait after a 128-run hammering of Singapore in their final pool game. Connie Wong Ar-yan stroked an unbeaten 60 and received superb support from Mariko Hill (49) as the pair racked up a match-winning stand of 101 for the third wicket to lift Hong Kong to 145 for three. Hill missed out on a half-century when she was stumped off the last ball of the innings. 'It was a clinical finish,' Hong Kong coach Lal Jayasinghe said.
