Hong Kong will confront China in the final of the Asian Cricket Council Women's Twenty20 tournament in Kuwait after they defeated Nepal by nine wickets in the semi-final yesterday. Watched by former British prime minister John Major, skipper Neisha Pratt (31 not out) and player-of-the-match Connie Wong (34 not out) steered Hong Kong to victory with 19 balls to spare. Hong Kong, the defending champions, will be seeking to avenge a 13-run loss to China, who beat Thailand in their semi-final, earlier in the pool competition.
