Premium clients of 1O1O mobile network operator CSL enjoyed a night of pampering on Wednesday, watching Turbo King become the first horse over the finishing line in the finale of this year's 1O1O Million Challenge.

Taking place at Adrenaline, a hip party venue overlooking the Happy Valley racecourse, guests each received a HK$100 cash voucher to bet on the night's eight races while enjoying delights such as a hand massage station, a cigar bar, a buffet dinner and plenty of alcohol.

CSL chief marketing officer Mark Liversidge talked enthusiastically about the new super-fast 4G service that would be rolled out in the next few months.

Liversidge (below left, with Jockey Club executive director of racing William Nader) also shared betting tips with clueless amateur gamblers. 'There was this race, once. I had no idea about the horses and randomly picked a horse named after a place I know in Sydney,' he said. 'I ended up having the biggest win I'd ever had.'

The party ended with excitement as the challenge winner romped past the finishing line. The guest who correctly predicted the winner by sending the horse's name in an SMS won a smartphone.
