Slip me some skin

Coccinelle's range of snakeskin-effect items puts a natural twist on glamorous accessories. The brass python-print leather cuff is available in black and white (left; HK$799) and an earthy brown (top left; HK$699). Other standouts include the pink python-print leather folded clutch (above; HK$2,699). Coccinelle is in IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7712.

Tous cute

Hong Kong girls are known to favour all things cutesy and jewellery brand Tous has come up with something to satisfy their acquired tastes: an 18-carat white-gold ring (right; HK$39,029) featuring two 0.6-carat diamonds set in teddy bear-shaped fixtures. The subtle motif can only be seen from the side, lending the ring an air of sophistication. Tous is at IFC Mall, tel: 2295 0018.

Yes to yellow

You can't go wrong with this simple patent-leather Chanel purse (HK$5,600). It's available in Valentine red but we prefer the bright yellow version. Chanel is in Prince's Building, Central, tel: 2810 0978.

Built to last

American designer Reed Krakoff cut his luxury bag-making teeth at Coach. The brand's nude rectangular bag (left; HK$28,000), with snakeskin flap, isn't cheap but it will withstand the test of time. Reed Krakoff is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, tel: 2118 3388.

Bold as brass

Metallic heels are all the rage this season and Sergio Rossi has nailed the look. The hammered brass heel detail defines the brand's latest collection and creates a fascinating texture and look. We love the Antiope red satin gladiator sandal (bottom right; HK$12,950) and the Cleta Karung ankle-strap wedge sandal in blue (centre right; HK$12,550). The snakeskin Clonia T-strap sandal (top right; HK$13,680) is another winner. Sergio Rossi is in Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2918 0872.
