Hikers sent to hospitals

A hiker with a history of heart problems had to be airlifted to a hospital after he felt dizzy during a walk in Sha Tau Kok. The man was taken by a Government Flying Service helicopter to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan. In another case, a hiker was rescued by fellow walkers after he fell into a creek near Bride's Pool in Tai Po. He was taken to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital for treatment.

Tourists bodies to be returned

The bodies of three Hong Kong tourists who were killed in a crash in Jiangxi province are being brought back to the city. The three were in a seven-seater vehicle which went off the road and plunged into a valley on Sanqing Mountain in Yushan county. A mainland member of the family was also killed. Of two other Hong Kong family members who were injured, one returned home on Saturday while the other is still in hospital.

Foreigner falls off motorbike

A 48-year-old foreigner was taken to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital after he fell off his motorcycle in Ting Kok Road while on the way to Tai Po. He suffered injuries to his shoulder and legs.
