The Taoist festival parade through the streets of Hong Kong will feature carnival floats for the first time. Seven floats bearing gods such as the healing deity Wong Tai Sin, Tin Hau, the Goddess of Heaven, and Che Kung, who is said to bring good luck to gamblers, will join the procession on Sunday March 13. The parade, organised by the Hong Kong Taoist Association, will set off from Sham Shui Po, pass along Nathan Road and end in Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
