A man being held by the Taliban used to live in Hong Kong. Colin Rutherford - a 26-year-old Canadian citizen of Chinese-Scottish ancestry - went missing after visiting Afghanistan 'as a tourist', Canada's foreign affairs department said. A Taliban group said it captured Rutherford on Sunday, although Canada's The Globe and Mail said his disappearance had been investigated for three months.
