Japanese developer Tokyu Group will hold a seminar in Beijing on Saturday, aimed at attracting wealthy mainlanders to invest in Japan. A spokeswoman for the organiser said rich people were checking out overseas property markets after Beijing introduced limits on home buying. Mainland Chinese used to invest in the US and Australia, but the flying distance to Japan was shorter compared with those countries, she said. The seminar will brief Chinese attendees on Japan's market performance and investment tips.
