I totally love this collaboration. White's right on the money with all his work and rocks, as does 73-year-old Jackson, the queen of rock'n'roll and longtime badass of rockabilly. Their version of this song live on Letterman is smoking hot.

3. Baby Lady-Boy - Pan Ron

I don't know the real title - it's in Khmer - but it's about a mother-to-be speaking with other mothers and wondering if her baby is a boy or a girl, or perhaps even a baby lady-boy. Pan Ron is an icon of 1960s and 70s Khmer divas, and she disappeared in the Khmer Rouge's killing fields.

4. Flying Shoes - Townes Van Zandt

I believe Van Zandt was one of the greatest country/folk songwriters of all time. Flying Shoes is especially simple and beautiful. Lyle Lovett's version sung at Van Zandt's funeral is a very moving interpretation.

5. Women - The Cambodian Space Project vs Master Kong Nay

We recently collaborated with the blind chapei master Kong Nay, one of the first great musicians I heard in Cambodia, the Lead Belly of Phnom Penh. This track was written and recorded for Human Rights Day and is an exciting mix of the traditional and the contemporary.
