This week we test: Concealer
A good concealer helps you hide those imperfections. Use a peach or yellow tone for eye circles and a bit of green to lighten redness.
Benefit Erase Paste (HK$260)
Blend in a tiny - truly tiny - amount of this creamy concealer to cover up dark eye circles and blemishes. It seems to melt into the skin and keeps any imperfections hidden all day.
Averine Concealer Kit (HK$220)
This does a good job hiding tiny blemishes and dark eye circles. Its texture is soft and creamy, and melts into your skin. It comes with a handy brush as well.
Shu Uemura Pro Concealer (HK$150)
Great for covering blemishes and red areas around the nose. Although the texture is a little thick, it isn't very hard to blend and offers more coverage.
Barbie All Doll'd Up Concealer kit (HK$228)
The kit consists of four different colours and is suitable for any skin tone. The texture, however, is too thick and gives your face an oily look.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer (HK$300)
This works like magic on spots and dark circles under your eyes. Just one complaint: it creases after a while. All you need is a moisturiser underneath.
