Government measures to cool the property market may bring some benefits to lower-income households, but would not help bring down flat prices, developer Vincent Lo Hong-sui said. The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference delegate and Shui On Group chairman said the core problem was the lack of land supply and high demand for property. He criticised the government measures as 'too severe'.
