Grady back for shot at HK title
Former major winner Wayne Grady, 53, will take a break from the senior tour to again compete in the HK$300,000 Ageas Insurance Hong Kong PGA Championship. Australian Grady, winner of the US PGA Championship in 1990, will spearhead a 70-strong field in the three-day tournament, which will be played on three different courses. 'We are going back to the old format of using different courses,' tournament promoter Dominique Boulet said yesterday. It will begin at Clearwater Bay on March 29, move to the Old Course at Fanling and finish on the North Course at Kau Sai Chau. Other leading lights will be Shenzhen-based defending champion C.J. Gatto, who beat Grady last year, and Frenchman Jean van de Velde.
