The MTR Corp apologised yesterday for a 20-minute delay in its East Rail Line service on Sunday afternoon when a short circuit occurred in a cable on a train travelling from Sheung Shui to Lo Wu. A spokesman said the electrical fault was caused by damaged insulation material at the place where high-tension cable is connected to the transformer under the train.
