Seeing blue as Citi gives Bank a run for its money
Those using the Star Ferry recently will have noticed the Tsim Sha Tsui terminal has turned a curious blue. There is no doubt as to what the new blue is about since the words Citi are emblazoned for all to see. Indeed, we are probably going to get heartily sick of it because this blue peril is on taxis, the Cross-Harbour Tunnel approaches and, we are told, it is coming to Sogo.
It is quite an aggressive campaign as Citi goes all out to up its game in Hong Kong in an effort to give HSBC a run for its money.
But surely there must be a limit to the rising tide of blue branding that we can permit on environmental grounds?
Compensation claim
China is asking the New Zealand government to pay special compensation to the families who lost children in the Christchurch earthquake last month.
