Old-fashioned bar games still hip, celebrities show Puma party

Who says those apps on smartphones and whatever-pads are the only hip ice-breakers to impress a drinking buddy?

Guests at the finale party for sportswear brand Puma's social campaign rekindled the good old bar games - foosball, pools, darts and even a three-way table-tennis-ball match.

The party at Central's Hyde club on Thursday night attracted a great turnout, including a slew of local stars such as the actress-fashion icon Hilary Tsui Ho-ying, model Jennifer Tse Ting-ting and actress-model Janice Man. Celebrity drummer and singer Jun Kung showed off his master skills in finger-guessing, a classic drinking game played in local bars.

'It's all about timing, really, and being able to anticipate others' next move,' he said. 'It's like when you are performing on the stage. You need to figure out what your partner's trying to communicate, through a gesture or even a simple frown.'

As for his party dress code, Kung said he preferred wearing safe black, for it would never go out of style. The musician can be quite a fashion policeman when it comes to party-girl outfits.

'It's nice to see sexy girls at parties. But it's a thin line between being sexy and slutty. Some girls show too much skin, but for me it's a turn-off. Tight T-shirt and confident attitude can be sexy.'
