Around 150 security guards yesterday marched from Wan Chai to Central in protest at what they say are unfair measures by building management companies to offset the costs of implementing the statutory minimum wage. Security guards say employers have revoked a paid lunch hour and paid rest days, and obliged some of them to sign new contracts, depriving them of long-service benefits.
