Wong sets best time in Tour de Taiwan
Wong Kam-po achieved his best result so far in the Tour de Taiwan when he came second in the fourth stage from Hsinchu city to Sun Moon Lake yesterday. The Hong Kong veteran completed the 193-kilometre stage in four hours 36 minutes and 12 seconds, 42 seconds behind winner Floris Goesinnen of Holland. Another Hong Kong rider, Yeung Ying-hon, who broke away with Goesinnen with 20 kilometres left and built up a 70-second lead, managed 29th place after being caught with 5km to go. The tour continues today with a 125km stage in Taichung city.
