Brothers get best of both worlds in the village
Northern Irish brothers Paul and Andrew Dineley have got it all figured out. They plant themselves in the Sevens Village every year and get the best of both worlds.
'We're pretty well known here in the village, we've been coming for about five years,' said Paul. 'You can hear the roar or the crowd in the stadium, feel the atmosphere, and enjoy a quiet beer in the sun. Best of all, it's free.'
This year the brothers - who run a firm doing maintenance at Hong Kong members' clubs - were with their cousin, Mark, and friend Steve Hancox.
Andrew and Paul, from near Belfast, are true 'brothers in arms'. In the 1990s, they were in Britain's Royal Artillery and have appeared at Military Salutes in Edinburgh. 'The Salutes occurred for any number of occasions. In fact, I've met the Queen three times,' Andrew said.
