A 31-year-old worker survived a fall from scaffolding outside a 13th-floor flat in Ma On Shan yesterday. The man was erecting scaffolding outside the flat at Kam Huen House in Kam Fung Court at around noon when he fell on to the first-floor canopy. He was semi-conscious when he was taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital. The Labour Department was investigating the incident, police said.
