Marketeer to torture the greedy
THINGS around town were a bit orderly when that dandy marketing man Richard Finny retreated to his native New Zealand for a while.
Now back in our midst he tells Keeping Posted that he's soon to introduce a new form of Chinese torture to keep us all entertained.
The Kiwi terror is organising something called the Snapple Suzuki Vitara Giveaway where a $185,000 jeep will be given to the person who is able to keep his or her hand on the body of the vehicle for the longest period.
Trying to make it sound so easy, Finny says: ''The contestants will not be allowed to sleep, sit or even lean on the car and they will be permitted just one 10-minute comfort stop every two hours. From previous experience usually everybody drops off exhausted within 48 hours. It's all based on sheer greed''.
