Safety course for officials

SECRETARY for Works, James Blake, will be among 1,500 government officials heading back to the classroom to learn about safety in the construction industry. The course will last eight months.

Last year 80 building workers died and 16,573 were injured, prompting the Government to embark on the $5 million training scheme.
