KING Norodom Sihanouk is the most popular figure in Cambodia, followed by a singer killed by the Khmer Rouge in the late 1970s, according to a poll of 600 Cambodians.

The International Management and Investment Consultants Ltd poll ranked King Sihanouk ahead of singer Sin Sisamouth. Third was the king's son, First Prime Minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh, followed closely by Second Prime Minister Hun Sen.
