THE furore surrounding the O. J. Simpson hearing has reinforced my view that the American legal system has nothing to do with justice.

How can anyone expect to get an unbiased jury and fair trial with this sort of publicity? I think they badly need some sort of sub judice law as exists in Britain.

Trial by media seems to be the norm in the United States with a famous name and plenty of money greatly influencing the outcome.
