FAMISHED fans of the popular Faye Wong Ching-man will have their appetite whetted when they see their idol on stage tonight in the ''Something Right, Something Wong Mini-Concert'' organised by Commercial Radio.

It has been almost a year since Wong had taken part in a Commercial Radio concert.

She last appeared in the ''Man Yan Bong Volunteer Services Campaign '93 Concert''.

The trendy singer, who keeps surprising audiences with stunning outfits and hairstyles, will get together with her enthusiastic fans tonight at the Academic Community Hall.

''There shouldn't be any dramatic changes in my style or image, but I might do something new with my hair,'' Wong said.

The singer had flown all the way to Europe to get new attires and accessories for the show.

Apart from Wong, some of her good friends will be appearing in the mini-concert. Audiences will not only get to see their idol, but also other Hong Kong and Taiwan singers.

The pop queen will be accompanied by guest performers including William So Wing-hong, Jessica Chau Ching and Samuel Tai Ching-siu.

Given the opportunity to perform on stage with singers she admires, Chau said she was both thrilled and anxious.

Wong is one of her favourite singers.

''I am fascinated by her unique style and singing talent, and I am really looking forward to the concert,'' Chau said.

Taiwan pop star Tai is actually from Hong Kong. He studied at a university in Taiwan and was a doctor before he became a singer.

The mini-concert will be hosted by Commercial Radio disc jockeys Au Yeung Tak-fun and Alex Fung Hon-chiu.
