PRESTIGE watch maker Longines will launch a print and television campaign throughout Asia tomorrow.
Filmed by leading commercial director Louis Ng from an idea by Grey Hong Kong, the campaign will try to add drama to the standard, sumptuous approach.
The advertisement depicts a modern hero and his ''date'', a skilled rooftop cat-burglar. As the hero leaves his hotel room, forgetting his watch, his date breaks in to steal it.
Returning to his room, the expected confrontation does not happen - the scorpion guarding the watch has stung the burglar.
