Macau trade gap narrows

BUOYED by stronger exports, Macau saw its trade gap narrow 8.2 per cent for the first six months of the year.

Exports rose 6.5 per cent to $812 million and imports climbed 2.9 per cent to $1 billion, throwing up a deficit of about $188 million, compared with $205 billion in the same period last year.
