Chen Hsong China plans

CHEN Hsong Holdings is to concentrate on the development of two joint venture plants in Shandong and Shunde.

Its plastics plant in Shandong, a joint venture with Shandong Plastics and Rubber Machinery, is ready for trial production.

The plant will go into production in 1995.

Within five years, the cost of the plant would have been recovered, said group chairman Chiang Chen-yuen.

The Shunde plant is a joint venture with a German machinery firm and will produce a prototype in October, with production scheduled in the second half of next year.
