THE 24 members of the Vienna Boys' Choir, having just completed a gruelling tour of China, should have driven across from Guangzhou to Macau. But they took a show of hands and decided they'd rather get there via jetfoil from Hong Kong. We caught up with them at Hong Kong Park yesterday where they enjoyed a picnic before setting sail.

However, with dairy products - which are the staple of any decent picnic menu - banned from the choir's diet on account of them needing to keep their glottises finely tuned, it couldn't have been a lot of fun. Still, as Sasha, Albin and Benny (pictured above with conductor Georg Stangelberger) found out, the Tea Museum at the park provided some diversion. The choir will be back in the territory to give two concerts at the Cultural Centre on September 25 and October 3.
