Critics attacked

THE Commissioner for Narcotics, Alasdair Sinclair, yesterday defended the Government's methadone programme and hit out at its critics. He told the 26th annual general meeting of the Caritas Lok Heep Club that the programme had an 'unjustified negative image'. It tackled drug addiction and had benefits for the whole of society.
