Man of the moment Riccardo Tisci's dark, sensual designs for Givenchy come straight from the heart, writes Jing Zhang.
HOW proud Lavender Patten must be. After the appeal we made in Keeping Posted some weeks ago on behalf of the Southern African Women's Association (SAWA) for used clothing the response was magnificent.
More than 900 kilograms of clothing in 45 boxes are now in South Africa from whence it will be channelled out to other needy parts of the continent.
And here's the Patten connection. The recipient of the cargo in Johannesburg was Save the Children whose president in South Africa is Lavender's sister-in-law, Mary Hanna.
So with that lot on their way SAWA is ready to collect more. So get em' off to the South African Consulate - 27th Floor, Sunning Plaza, 10 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay (telephone 577 3279).
Says SAWA chairman Lettie Farr: 'We will keep the collection point at the consulate open until April before sending off the next lot of used clothes just in time for the South African winter.'
