JARDINE Network Systems has signed a deal to distribute uninterruptible power supplies from France's Merlin Gerin UPS in Hong Kong.

  Merlin Gerin's Pulsar UPS range comprises three families, from 150VA to 4KVA, and provides for centralised or distributed UPS protection.

  One Pulsar 3KVA model is the most powerful UPS which can be plugged directly into a wall socket without extra installation procedures.

  Merlin Gerin also offers special versions of its UPS Manager safety software for use with the Pulsar range. The new Pulsar range also supports the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
