Organised by the Chartered Institute of Transport (CIT) of Singapore, the main objective of the conference is to promote awareness of the growing importance of logistics businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.

It also will identify trends, issues and opportunities in the regional and international transportation and logistics fields.

'The conference will bring together high-level policy makers, academics and commercial decision-makers to discuss logistical issues relating to air freight, sea freight, warehousing and related technical and infrastructural developments,' CIT chairman Karmjit Singh said.
