POLICE have arrested six men, four of whom are believed to have gang-raped a 16-year-old schoolgirl in a car on a remote construction site in Tsing Yi yesterday.

The arrests were made after police found a man having sex with a girl who appeared to be unconscious in the vehicle on a work site at the junction of Cheung Fai and Cheung Tat roads at 3.45 am.

Police suspected the victim, who appeared to be drunk, had been gang-raped by four men, aged between 18 and 23, in the car. Used condoms were found at the scene.

The girl was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was examined by a pathologist.

The victim was one of four girls who had met a group of 10 men, mostly construction and decoration workers, in a Tsuen Wan karaoke lounge earlier in the evening, police said.

Officers arrested two more men in connection with the assaults and are looking for two to three more suspects.
