THE worldwide slump in the computer video-game industry has pushed Wong's Kong King International interim into the red, with a loss of $47 million compared with a $19.8 million profit last year.

Loss per share was 14.76 cents. Turnover dropped 17.5 per cent to $553.8 million.

An unusually large decline in volume of orders cut the manufacturing division's revenue by 52 per cent, a significant part of the loss.
