LEADING trainer Patrick Biancone could hold the key to an interesting Double Trio at Sha Tin tomorrow night where the prospects of a sizeable dividend must be good. Biancone saddles up topweight Big Mac in the first leg and produces maiden World Happiness in the fifth event. Big Mac tackles a Class Four race over 1,600 metres and looks in great shape for his engagement.

In a race that could be dominated by reclassified griffins he is marginally preferred to the Derek Cruz-trained Lifo. One reason for the preference is the fact that Big Mac appears to have summered particularly well and the steady progression in distance up to tomorrow night's mile looks ideal for the three-year-old.

Biancone took his time with the youngster last year and it paid dividends for the French trainer as Big Mac derived the necessary benefit from a debut run over 1,000 metres - he chased home the highly impressive Hussar - to win a 1,400 metre event very comfortably. He accounted for both Executive Action and America Supreme in that race and looks fully capable of confirming the form.

Lifo is also a youngster progressing very much in the right direction and he looks certain to give a major sight for Tony Cruz. The three-year-old New Zealand galloper won at Happy Valley over the longer sprint at the back end of last season and will run well here. The second leg of the DT is an open looking affair and the nod goes to World Happiness who has, like so many of Biancone's team, been going along very smoothly for his seasonal reappearance. He did finish third to the classy Supreme Monarch last season and looks capable of winning in Class Four.

Of the others, Asian Glory has been going well for trainer John Moore and could be thereabouts while Red Star is possibly at a mark where he could be effective but he's a temperamental type.

Chater Star may have admirers but there must be doubts about him over a mile second up.
