Florida condo sale establishes record
A NEARLY 12,000 square foot condominium which housed President Bill Clinton and Vice-President Albert Gore during their recent visits to South Florida has been sold for US$5.8 million, marking Florida's most expensive condominium sale.
The residence is located in Fisher Island's exclusive Villa Del Mare, a nine-storey, 37-unit building completed in April 1992. The penthouse features more than 8,200 sq ft of living space and a 3,600 sq ft wrap-around terrace.
Fisher Island already held the title for the highest-priced condominium, with last year's sale of a $5.3 million unit.
